This is one of the finest examples we have in our collection
that displays the art of carving. The detail displayed throughout this
work of art elevates it to "Show Piece" standing. The scene
depicts a old man and young boy on their way to try their luck at fishing.
Not only is the ivory in this piece wonderfully carved, but the figures stand on
a carved wooden base featuring a dragon and inlayed ivory signature
plaque. The overall height of the piece is 12", the height of the man
is 8.75".
