This is a four panel ivory screen.  Each panel is 12"H x 3.75"W and magnificently carved on each side.  On the front a single scene is divided over the four panels and carved in bias relief.  The rear boasts scrimshaw text and a two panel scene.  This is a truly beautiful and rare piece!
