Two boys with Daruma in a basket. He is the Japanese
rendering of Bodhidharma who was the 28th patriarch of Zen Buddhism. He
was born at the beginning of the sixth century into an Indian royal
family. He went to China as a Buddhist missionary, where he became the
first Chinese patriarch of Zen Buddhism. Nice carving 1 1/8" H x 1
7/8"W.
